    So far, it’s great

Installed this on the roof of my 4runner with no rack. I zip tied the antenna clip to my front crossbar and mounted the Seasucker just in front of my rear crossbar. I’ve been driving with it mounted with no issues. I just usually check the pumps once a day to make sure they stay pumped up. Only time I had any orange showing (meaning it needs to be pumped up) was the morning after I installed it. Doesn’t move, feels solid, and hasn’t flow off the roof of my truck going 90 down the highway yet, so I’ll take that.

    Short term solution

I've heard the name "SeaSucker" and have heard some good and some bad, I decided to give it a try based on being a Florida company with US made products. I change trucks every 2 years or less and wanted to avoid the cost, downtime and permanence of another NMO or hard mount antenna. I work in the energy services business and cell phone boosters are a must. This unit seems to hold well but will require daily pumps no matter how much effort you put into cleaning and prepping. If you had a road trip and needed this it wouldn't be bad, it would be had to justify the price for a few uses. Overall it does feel quality but it is also bulky and protrudes pretty far off your back glass. That said the sucker does it's job. I have run 85+ mph West Texas roads without issue, driving rains, winds and sand have not shaken it loose nor have ranch roads, forest service roads or any other harsh conditions I've thrown at it. You can fold down and run through a carwash without too much worry as well.

Overall it's not a bad product but in retrospect I will just bite the bullet and hard mount the antenna going forward.

    Hey Leonard,

If you want it to become more permanent, just leave it on the vehicle and keep re-pumping. After about 2 weeks, you'll hardly have to pump the mounts up moving forward. Dust fills in the microscopic holes that air escapes and makes the vacuum mounts nearly resilient to losing vacuum pressure.

WeBoost sea sucker mount!! Best and easiest mount for my antenna

Purchased this sea sucker mount for my WeBoost antenna since I don’t have a rack to mount my antenna on I decided to purchase the sea sucker! WOW so easy to mount my antenna to the suction cups, I stuck it right to my rear window.!and it only takes seconds to mount and dismount! I check every couple hours to see if they need to be pumped and so far they haven’t needed it! Would definitely recommend this!

    Great product!

My antenna is not a weBoost, but a competitor. However, it works with the mount that came with antenna. Only two of the bolt holes lined up but it is secure with just two.

Wanted a non permanent mount for camper. Pairs well with my two SeaSucker Rotopax mounts.
