Don’t let some jerk steal your bike (or skis, or whatever)! We've combined our Cable Anchor - Window with a sturdy cable lock. Since SeaSucker bike racks aren’t bolted on to rooftop bars, we came up with a way to keep your bike safe. A Cable Anchor is just what it sounds like – an anchor point to securely connect a cable loop to your car. The Cable Anchor – Window, slides over your window glass and rolls up into the window frame. Not recommended for tinted windows.
Choose standard (6' cable, suitable for most applications), or XL (10' cable, especially for our Classic Ski Rack).

With SeaSucker's cable anchor solutions, you can lock your rack securely from either your trunk or windows using a cable lock! These products are small enough to fit in your glove box so you never have to worry about leaving them behind in your garage.

The cable lock and window anchor work well and the 10-foot cable is idea for the ski rack. I have 2 gripes: (1) the plastic used for the key handles is very low quality. The lock comes with 6 keys and I broke the handles off of 3 of them on the first day of use. (2) the plastic on the lock head seems to get brittle when cold. A piece of plastic broke off where the cable feeds into the lock head. Everything is still perfectly usable, but I expected it to hold up better at this cost point.

First, the window anchor deserves 5 stars, just like the trunk anchor: brilliant design & functionality.
Regarding the 10' cable, the keys are way too flimsy, same as the ones with the 6' cable. When first trying to unlock the cable, none of the five keys would unlock it at first, not until after several attempts. (I already broke two of the keys in the 6' lock; didn't break any of the 10' cable's keys...yet.)

The cable lock is high quality, but it needs anti-rub pads to prevent marks on the car. I'll probably not lock the bike other than when I'm stationary until I get some sort of pads to protect the car's paint.

Works well, but just aware that the 6' cable is only long enough to lock a single bike. Get the longer one if you are looking to lock up two or more bikes.
